I did some serious research into the Tablet market before deciding to buy the A1CS X220 Android Tablet some ten days ago. It seemed to offer everything I wanted - book reader, internet, email, MP3 player, photo and video viewer, and at a price I was prepared to pay. And it has proved to do all these things and more - I really am pleased and impressed with this product. It is well built, comes with GPS aerial, and transformer with an 8 foot cable, making it easy to use well away from a power point. It is comfortable to hold, light enough to use in bed or in a chair,and I have also used it on a train. The battery lasts for at least three hours before it needs recharging and you can use it with the mains connected as well, although I prefer not too as the mains input cable could get in the way, get pulled and thus damaged. The tablet has three inputs, two USB and one Micro SD card which can take up to 32 Gig capacity.

The brought the tablet from A1CS on the Monday and it was delivered on the Wednesday morning. The tablet came with a free slip case and screen protector which was a nice surprise as these were not mentioned.

First of all this is not an I Pad, but at the third of the price, more connection options and software support it gives the I Pad real competition.

The tablet itself is easy to use with external controls mounted on the top of the tablet and the interface connections down the right hand side.

The 2x MicroSD sockets and the 2 x USB sockets means there is great scope for expansion and swapping of files between a PC and the tablet.

The screen is resistive compared to the capacitive of the I Pad meaning you need to touch it slightly harder to operate but after a few minutes of operation you soon forget this.

The only issue I have with the tablet is that it doesn't work with my o2 3G dongle; this isn't too much of an issue for me... Read more

To be honest I was never entirely convinced by the tablet PC thing, but I liked the idea of an Android 4 platform with a screen that was bigger than a phone so I thought I'd try one of these. It didn't cost much more than a basic Kindle and I thought it'd do as an e-reader even if it was rubbish at everything else.

Well, it's not rubbish as it happens. In fact it's a really nice little device and is a total bargain at the price.

The build quality is top-notch, it has a satisfying weight in the hand without being heavy and the touch screen is very responsive with a crisp, clean picture. The processor handles the very latest version of Android 4 (which it ships with) like a dream and the whole thing is a pleasure to use. It came with the Facebook and YouTube apps pre-installed as well as a file manager, and it also came with a USB lead and a recharger. Like a lot of people I probably spent far too much time researching various budget 7 inch android tablets. I wish I had seen this one first of all as it would have saved me many hours of googling. I am, quite frankly, blown away by the quality, performance and responsiveness of this CloudNine Neuropad2 Tablet.

Like other reviewers the deciding factors for me were full android market, flash support, capacitive touch screen and the very lovely android 4 (ICS) OS.

I would say the sensitivity of the device, in my opinion, is easily on a par with my ipod touch.

I have installed quite a few apps - the usual Angry birds (for the kids, of course), Kindle Reader, iplayer, live wallpapers plus many other games, and they all work flawlessly.

All the preinstalled apps, such as Facebook, Youtube, Skype etc. all work fine - no crashes or freezes.

This was the third attempt since last Christmas to acquire a 7 inch tablet. After the second failed attempt I spent a lot of time reading up on Android tablets. To state the obvious: it depends what you want the tablet for, and, you get what you pay for.
For a machine in its price bracket, the CloudNine Neuropad2 Tablet is a great option! It does what I wanted it for.
It's a slim, elegant machine with a great screen and good speaker. It comes with Android 4.0.3 which is a great experience after Android 2.2 or 2.3. No problems connecting to WiFi, even to non-broadcasting networks, something not every tablet will do in my experience.

I originally bought a �50 Disgo 7000 for my 4 year old son's birthday. All I can say is stay well clear as they are utter rubbish and it was returned to sender for a refund. The aim was to get him started on computers/technology. I didn't want one of the "kids tablets" say from Vtech as they seemed limited with expensive games and battery use - I preferred the idea of an Android tablet. With Google Play, as most will be aware there are all sorts of apps for kids both games and educational. After the Disgo disappointment I did a stupid amount of time looking at alternatives. Price, spec and Google Play were all considered. For those just considering a tablet for the first time Google Play is the official Android app market.

When I saw this model come up at the price paid the decision was made. I had seen other Tabtronics tablets listed and was impressed by the comments on their service. Note some tablets on Amazon come from China so you take your chance if they go... Read more

I ordered this for my 12 year old daughter after suggesting she spend some of her birthday money on it. I was initially dubious because of the price but after reading the reviews thought it was worth a punt. I can rest easy!! The tablet is more than value for money on first impressions. This looks and feels like a �200 android. Very easy to use and packed with all the basic stuff any novice could need. I'm slightly paranoid that at this price it will fall apart in a month but that's just my pessimism shining through!!

I couldn't resist buying this tablet when I saw its price...and when it arrived a couple of days later I was very excited to load it up with apps and start playing around with it.

PROS - It's a fantastic little device for reading eBooks or blogs via Pulse, it's runs really smoothly (aside from the odd hiccup when the memory gets low), the screen is adequately bright and colourful...Instagram photos and Tumblr posts look fantastic. It's also pre-rooted, so it's able to run root apps like Titanium Backup straight out the box.

CONS - As it's a complete no-name tablet, if you were expecting to be able flash it with custom ROMS you're likely to be disappointed as it seems that there are none available...so you're stuck with the stock ROM for the forseeable future. It doesn't seem to run every app that I tried with it (Super Monkey Ball closes as soon as you try to open it), the lack of a preinstalled YouTube app and also NOT being able to install it from the Play...
