Right, I've been running this tablet for about 3 weeks now so hopefully I've got the measure of it. Here's what I think:
Firstly, as it seems to be what is bothering people the most, the screen resolution is 800x480. That said, this is a small piece of kit and I've noticed almost no bleeding. The other day I read three high text content mags using ziinio without ever being disapointed. Video is crisp and sharp and pictures are clear as a bell. Now we can move onto what I think is important.

For the budget what concerned me most was battery life. Most of the competitors quote around three hours (not good enough imho) but this offered six. And six hours, with full wifi, is what you get. Turn it off and you get a good eight to ten. Really good for travelling.

One of the other reviewers said that he'd experienced freezing and this does happen occasionally, but nothing too bad. The real downside is storage . Only 2gb internal is a bit tight but manageable... Read more

I purchased this tablet for uni as my laptop was just too heavy for the commute. I wasn't expecting anywhere near as good as what I got however if you're after an Ipad or Samsung Galaxy you might be disappointed but for your money this is great!

Its fast, the graphics are great, it handles games really well, I purchased a keyboard case for it however the onscreen keyboard is also great to use not too small like I usually find with touchscreen qwerty. Battery life is good, I got 5 hrs out of it whilst playing games all day, and on standby or doing small things like taking notes it lasts longer. its so slim and weighs hardly anything!

however it does crash on occasion, by this I mean it will freeze for a little while and the worst I've had is it restart itself this has happened less than a handful of times though and for the money I'm happy to put up with it!

it can take up to 32gb card which is what I've put into it however it won't let me download apps... Read more

We already have a cheap Android tablet that has proved wonderfully useful - particularly for keeping the kids amused on longer journeys. With this in mind, and a long Journey by boat and car coming up, we decided to order a second tablet - partly so the kids wouldn't fight over the other tablet whilst travelling and partly so I could have one to use once we got there. We settled on the WAFR as the specs looked excellent for the price and the reviews on here were largely positive. It arrived really quickly and well packed and, as I already have a Google account tied to the other tablet, setting it up took five minutes - just a case of entering the WiFi key and then signing in to my Google account.
