5.0 out of 5 stars Fly touch review, 9 Jan 2012
This review is from: 10.2" Flytouch 3 Tablet PC MID X220 Android 2.2 WiFi GPS HDMI 4GB (Electronics)
Great purchase as described, prompt delivery as I received the product in time for Christmas. The item itself is very impressive and my kids use it all the time for gaming, watching a film, all wireless. The fly touch is a brilliant buy and is recommended to anyone who wants a cheaper version of an iPad for themselves or for children. Fantastic gadget and does rberything outlined by the supplier. I read some reviews which were negative about the product prior to my purchase but since having bought the Flytouch I have had no real issues that cannot be rectified. Its android, so loading apps takes seconds when on wi-fi, I cannot think of anything it cannot do as has an additional memory capability aswell as USB ports. All in all a great buy.

Overall this is a good pad for the money. You are buying the bottom end of the scale, so don't expect a top of the range model. The screen is not multi-touch (I personally don't mind that as I find more use for it on my small phone than on this). Although it is sold with Flash 10.1, don't expect it to work well. It plays video files really well, and can connect easily (just plug and play) to an external USB drive.

For me the biggest annoyance was the Marketplace. Because this is basically just a bog-standard reference edition of Android 2.2 (with some bundled apps) it is not localised for the Marketplace. This means (at least I think this is the reason) that while you can access the marketplace, you will have problems accessing non-free apps and some apps will not appear due to country restrictions etc. Also going to the marketplace on the web and logging in showed my HTC Wildfire correctly, but this tablet did not show up at all. I tried lots of suggestions people... Read more

The goods arrived within the promised time and where well packed. The leather holder and android "man" wher a welcome gift. I f you have used an android system you will get to terms with the os quickly. Plenty of apps google and facebook etc are very easy to configure and view but the web is very slow to search. Initial battery storage was quite short but is improving as it is charged more. I wouldnt consider it as a fully mobile "ipad" but it is very handy indoors to save starting the computer if i want to look something up on the quick. I am not disappointed with it and would call it good value for the money paid.
