The Arnova does a pretty good job of both. I have found myself also using the web browser more and more as it is easier than logging in to my PC for emails and to check the news.I have bought a cheap stylus because I find it easier to move around the screen but using fingers is quite easy. The Arnova runs on Gingerbread operating system which is okay. It doesn't have access to Android Market and there are only a limited number of apps available. However I'm not after games so it suits my needs. For the price (less than �100) it is in my opinion good value for money and seems well made. I've not dropped it, trodden on it or scratched the screen - perhaps I'm too careful. If you are wanting an iPad or Samsung Tablet then the Arnova may not suit your needs.
